Crimestoppers held a banquet October 18, 2005 in appreciation for the contributions of various people in the area.  Special thanks go to our Police Departments who are constantly striving to make this community safer. A special award was given to Corporal Bo Forsht for Crimestoppers Officer of the Year. Also thanks goes to the various media that have helped get out the word on our "most wanted" The Daily Herald, First Media and Elliott's Computers.

Crimestoppers at the May 2004 International Paper Safety day in Roanoke Rapids



On 10/04/03 Detective Chuck Hasty  and McGruff the Crime Dog were present in Hobgood N.C. for the "Hobgood Community Day". The Crime fighters fingerprinted children and promoted the Halifax County Crimestoppers Program.According to Det. Sgt. Hasty, the daylong event was a time to enjoy the company of the public for the police and an opportunity for officers to show the commitment of Law Enforcement to the community.
